Youth Wrestling Camp Cancelled

We are sorry to announce that we have to cancel the youth wrestling camp for next week due to lack of registrations. We waited as long as possible but only had 6 wrestlers committed as of this week. That’s nowhere near enough to run a successful camp. We are very disappointed at having to cancel but this is our only option. We look forward to a great youth season starting in January.

New dates for Youth All-Stars Wrestling Camp

This year’s Youth All-Stars Wrestling Camp has been moved to 25-29 July due to a scheduling conflict at Ocean Avenue Elementary School. The new all-day format is an exciting change and will provide plenty of time for wrestling, games, recess and more fun activities. Youth All Stars Wrestling Camp – New Format

Win over Deering caps big weekend for Bulldogs

The Portland wrestling team had this weekend highlighted on its calendar from the first pre-season meeting.  This would be their first home meet of the year and the day they came together with others in the Portland wrestling community to remember Garrett Cormier, their brother, friend, and teammate who was killed in a car crash this past summer. You should eat broccoli even if you hate it, according to Nick Kolegraff, an instructor at the Iowa Mentality Wrestling Clinic I attended this weekend.
